This small cane-backed chair just catches the light as it streams in from the south into this sunny room. The back of the chair sits in semi-shadow behind the curtain, which helped to make sense of the complex canework in this otherwise bright room.

This tiny, whitewashed kitchen sports a very Italian line-up of coffee-making equipment. Everything in it is cleverly positioned to make use of the space, including the pots of cutlery hanging in the rack above the draining board.

The owner has also placed items about the kitchen to create little spots of turquoise and teal in the otherwise white room.
