In my artistic practice, I draw inspiration from an array of pre-loved objects I’ve gathered over the years: ceramics, bottles, children’s toys, and ephemera. Each item although of little value, bears curious and often unknown stories.
Through an experimental exploration of diverse mediums and techniques used to depict these unassuming artefacts, I embrace the unexpected and liberate myself from control, allowing chance and mistakes to guide my artistic path.
I wish to transport the viewers into a realm of ambiguity, guesswork and reflection. I want audiences to engage actively with my paintings, hoping they’ll find moments of resonance and their own personal connection. Ordinary objects become extraordinary, as they offer glimpses into the depths of one’s personal memories and emotions.
