Morning Shadows
I remember talking one day with a tutor in a corridor at art school, when a sudden burst of sunlight came through the windows, throwing an array of abstract shapes across the wall. Looking at them he said ‘that’s all a painter needs’. This street in Greenwich is a perfect example of why that moment has stayed with me ever since.
