Joanne Edmonds: Leeds Grand Theatre
Following thirty years in the fashion industry as designer and retailer I am now fulfilling my dream of pursuing my love of drawing and painting and I have a space in Pica Studios a wonderful creative space in the heart of York city centre alongside inspiring creative artists.
My degree in fashion and textiles brings my interest in pattern and form to my art and I work in watercolour for its immediacy and luminosity. I am also very interested in architecture and decorative work and this piece is from a series of studies of Leeds Grand Theatre auditorium.
