Looking out from the platform at St James’ Station, the top floor of a row of houses can be seen framed by some smaller buildings. A pair of half opened curtains in one window and a single, shining lightbulb in another give a glimpse of the lives being lived there, seen momentarily before a train arrives and the view is gone
